Slow cooked beef cheek in red wine with celeriac puree

Guancia di manzo in lenta cottura al vino rosso e purea di sedano rapa

This is a typical braised beef dish from Northern Italy, slow cooked with vegetables, red wine and aromatic herbs. The meat is marinated in red wine before being slow cooked with vegetables, spices and aromatic herbs. This dish would go wonderfully well with our celeriac puree.

Cooking instructions

Opening instructions: You may find our jars are a bit difficult to open? THAT IS A GOOD SIGN!

As you know our product don’t contain any preservative or additive. To guarantee the maximum protection of the true freshness of our products, our jars are put under vacuum, therefore strongly sealed. If you cannot open easily, this is just a further positive sign of this freshness preservation.

  1. Once taken out the jar from the box try to slightly unlock the cap. If it is hard to open..
  2. Use a rounded kitchen tool, like the handle of a spoon, and make leverage under the cap.
  3. When you hear the noise of the air coming out, unscrew the cap, that will be now very easy to open!

Heating instructions: Open the packages and heat in the microwave for 3 minutes to a maximum of 750w; or heat at 120° C in a preheated fan assisted oven for 10 minutes. Stir well the celeriac puree and serve it as a side to the Beef cheek. Enjoy!
